Cardiology Treatment Challenge

Stable Monomorphic VT · L1

How this exercise works

Drag ACLS interventions into the correct priority order for bradycardia, tachycardia, or arrest algorithms. Life-threatening rhythms get pacing, shock, or epinephrine before secondary steps.

Fundamental concept

Sequencing pacing, defibrillation, medications, and supportive care for bradycardia, tachycardia, and arrest rhythms.

Scenario

Monomorphic VT 160/min, BP 110/70, alert, mild chest discomfort. Pulses strong.

Drag items into priority order — highest priority at the top.

Available

Antiarrhythmic per protocol (e.g., amiodarone) with medical direction
Prepare synchronized cardioversion if stability lost
Transport to facility with cardiology capability
Confirm wide-complex tachycardia with pulse and stability
12-lead if feasible; IV access and continuous monitoring
