Cardiology Treatment Challenge

VF Arrest — Shockable Rhythm · L1

How this exercise works

Drag ACLS interventions into the correct priority order for bradycardia, tachycardia, or arrest algorithms. Life-threatening rhythms get pacing, shock, or epinephrine before secondary steps.

Fundamental concept

Sequencing pacing, defibrillation, medications, and supportive care for bradycardia, tachycardia, and arrest rhythms.

Scenario

Witnessed collapse. CPR in progress. Monitor shows coarse ventricular fibrillation. First shock not yet delivered.

Drag items into priority order — highest priority at the top.

Available

Immediately resume high-quality CPR for 2 minutes
Confirm VF/pulseless VT and charge defibrillator
Deliver unsynchronized shock at recommended energy
Establish IV/IO access during CPR
Administer epinephrine after second shock per ACLS timing
