Scenario

IED blast: primary blast lung injury suspected, RR 32, SpO₂ 88%, tympanic membrane rupture, abdominal pain.

Drag items into priority order — highest priority at the top.

Available

IV access; monitor for delayed hemorrhage and compartment syndrome
Full body exam for occult penetrating fragments
High-flow oxygen; avoid hyperventilation; prepare for RSI if failing
Trauma center; consider delayed presentation of bowel injury
Assess for tension pneumothorax and decompress if indicated
